1. Who these terms apply to

Signals and Sensors LLC operates Sigsen.ai ("Sigsen", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern access to our website, applications, APIs, and agent services. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, and our Security & Trust page explains the security controls and their limits.

"You" means the person using the service or, if you use it for an organization, that organization. You must be at least 18 to create or administer a workspace, have authority to accept these terms for your organization, and comply with applicable law. People interacting with an organization's assistant are also subject to that organization's notices and terms.

By creating an account, using an authenticated service, or starting a clearly identified Sigsen demo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use those services. A separately signed agreement controls where it expressly conflicts with these terms. A required data processing agreement must be agreed before processing that requires it; this page does not itself provide one.

2. Accounts, organizations, and access

Provide accurate account information and keep it current. Protect your login, passkeys, API keys, integration credentials, and organization membership. Do not share an individual login with other people. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Organization owners and authorized administrators manage their workspace, assistants, memberships, integrations, and content. Your organization is responsible for granting appropriate access and for activity authorized through its accounts. Platform administrators administer the service; organization access controls do not eliminate necessary authorized support or security access.

We may decline or restrict registrations, enforce usage limits, and require verification to protect the service. Access to a feature depends on your permissions, configuration, subscription, and the availability of its dependencies.

3. What Sigsen provides

Sigsen lets customers configure assistants using models, speech services, knowledge sources, memory, phone and WhatsApp channels, and tools or MCP connections. The capabilities available to a particular assistant depend on what has been configured and enabled.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for lawful purposes during your authorized access. You may not resell access, bypass restrictions, or reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

A saved setting, enabled provider, displayed model, or published assistant does not guarantee that credentials are valid, upstream services are available, or a particular language, voice, action, or channel will work. Test your configuration before relying on it. The service is not an emergency calling or emergency response service.

4. Your content and AI outputs

"Customer Content" includes the prompts, files, documents, records, messages, audio, integration data, and other information you submit or authorize the service to process. As between you and Sigsen, you retain your rights in Customer Content. You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide it and to authorize its processing.

You grant Sigsen the limited rights necessary to host, transmit, process, index, retrieve, and display Customer Content to operate the features you use, provide support, and protect the service. This includes sending relevant information to configured providers and tool endpoints. It is not a license to sell your private content or use it for unrelated advertising.

Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, we do not claim ownership of outputs generated for you. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, similar to another user's output, or not eligible for intellectual property protection. You are responsible for reviewing them and deciding whether they are suitable for your use.

We do not use Customer Content to train a general-purpose AI model for Sigsen. Model providers may have their own terms, retention, and training practices. Your provider account and settings can affect those practices.

Sigsen retains ownership of its software, branding, documentation, and other service materials. Sharing feedback allows us to use it to improve the service, without treating confidential Customer Content as public feedback.

5. Providers, API keys, and integrations

When a customer-owned provider account is required, supply your own valid credentials and comply with that provider's terms. Platform-owned configurations are separate and do not automatically entitle tenants to use platform credentials.

Using your own key does not mean data stays solely within your systems. Sigsen still processes the request and transmits the information needed to your selected provider. Providers may receive prompts, conversation context, audio, retrieved passages, tool arguments, and other feature-specific information.

You are responsible for provider permissions, usage charges, account limits, and the suitability of provider terms. Provider fees may be billed separately from Sigsen fees. Disabling an integration in Sigsen does not cancel a provider subscription, revoke an upstream key, or stop charges for requests already made.

Tools, MCP servers, webhooks, and communications services can read or change external systems. Enable only endpoints you trust, restrict their permissions, and require appropriate confirmation for sensitive actions. An AI instruction or tool description is not a substitute for authorization from the affected person or organization.

Third-party services are independent of Sigsen. Their availability, terms, processing practices, and changes may affect the service. Our terms do not override those providers' terms.

6. Your responsibilities when deploying an assistant

You are responsible for your assistant's purpose, instructions, sources, permissions, and customer-facing disclosures. In particular:

  • Clearly disclose AI involvement when required by law or when its omission would mislead someone.
  • Obtain the necessary permissions for calls, messages, recordings, transcription, memory, uploads, and disclosures to providers.
  • Follow communications and marketing laws, channel rules, opt-out requests, and applicable restrictions on automated or artificial-voice calls.
  • Maintain appropriate rights to uploaded knowledge and any voice or likeness you use. Do not impersonate someone or clone a voice without permission.
  • Keep knowledge current and review sources before approving them. Evidence restrictions reduce unsupported answers but do not guarantee correctness.
  • Set limits and human escalation for financial commitments, bookings, account changes, and other consequential actions.
  • Provide a suitable human contact and handle requests involving your customers' data.

Browser microphone permission is permission to use that device's microphone. It does not by itself establish legal consent to record every participant or authorize marketing calls. Recording and memory consent are separate from processing necessary to deliver the conversation.

Do not rely on Sigsen as a sole decision-maker for medical, legal, financial, employment, housing, credit, or other high-impact decisions. Do not submit payment-card security codes, protected health information, or similarly regulated information unless a separately agreed arrangement and the complete configured processing chain support that use.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Sigsen to:

  • Commit fraud, harass people, send unlawful spam, conduct surveillance without authority, or facilitate other illegal activity.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Create deceptive impersonations or unauthorized synthetic voices.
  • Exploit children or distribute abusive or unlawful content.
  • Upload malware, probe other customers' accounts, exfiltrate data, or attack the service or a provider.
  • Bypass consent, safeguards, authentication, tenant boundaries, usage limits, or approval requirements.
  • Publish secrets or personal information you are not authorized to disclose.

Report suspected vulnerabilities using the process on our Security & Trust page. Testing must stay within systems and accounts you are authorized to access.

8. Fees, plans, and cancellation

The price, included usage, limits, renewal period, and cancellation terms shown at checkout or in a signed order apply to your purchase. Taxes may apply. If a subscription is offered, it renews as disclosed unless canceled through the available billing controls or agreed support process before renewal.

Provider cost imports, estimates, and benchmark results are informational. They are distinct from customer billing rates and do not themselves change your subscription price, invoices, or balance. Missing prices or incomplete usage can make an estimate incomplete.

You authorize the payment processor to process charges you accept. Past-due payments may result in restricted access after any notice required by law or your agreement. Fees already incurred remain payable. Refund rights follow the terms disclosed for your purchase and applicable law; these terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

We will give notice of changes to recurring Sigsen prices before they apply where required by law or your agreement. Upstream provider prices and customer-controlled usage can change independently.

9. Privacy, security, and retention

Our Privacy Policy describes information handling. You remain responsible for your own privacy notices and instructions when we process information for your organization.

Retention is feature-specific. Call artifacts, WhatsApp messages, memory, operational logs, knowledge sources, and billing records do not necessarily share the same deletion period. Turning off a feature is not always the same as deleting its existing data, and third-party copies are governed by that provider's controls.

Keep copies of important source documents and configurations. We implement security controls, but no system is immune to loss or unauthorized access. Do not assume a particular certification, hosting country, service level, backup schedule, or recovery guarantee unless it is expressly confirmed in a signed agreement.

Each party must use reasonable care to protect the other's non-public confidential information and use it only for the agreed purposes. This does not restrict information already lawfully public, independently developed, lawfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law. Where permitted, we will notify you of a legally compelled disclosure.

10. Service changes, suspension, and termination

We may update the service, fix security issues, discontinue features, or change dependencies. For a material reduction to a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and any remedy required by law or your agreement.

We may suspend access reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful activity, material breach, provider restriction, or unpaid fees. We will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it when doing so would not create further risk or violate law.

You may stop using the service and cancel subscriptions using the available controls. To close an account or request removal of data, contact us. After termination, access and processing permissions needed to operate your account end, except for limited retention and processing allowed by law, the Privacy Policy, or your agreement. Payment, confidentiality, liability, and dispute provisions survive where applicable.

11. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and AI outputs are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free outputs, suitability for a particular purpose, or the performance of independent providers. Any express commitments in a signed agreement still apply.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from these terms. Sigsen's aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of the Sigsen fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.

These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including to liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing limits your mandatory consumer rights. Your payment obligations are not reduced by this section.

For business customers only, you agree to defend and indemnify Sigsen against third-party claims caused by your unlawful use of the service or Customer Content that infringes another person's rights, to the extent the claim is attributable to you. We must promptly notify you, allow reasonable control of the defense, and cooperate. You may not settle a claim in a way that imposes an admission or non-monetary obligation on Sigsen without consent.

12. Disputes and general terms

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising a non-waivable legal right. Unless a signed agreement specifies governing law and venue, applicable conflict-of-law rules and mandatory law determine the governing law and competent courts. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without consent except as permitted by a signed agreement. We may transfer them as part of a corporate reorganization or sale, subject to applicable law and existing obligations.

These terms and any applicable signed agreement or order constitute the agreement for the service. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and updating the date. For material changes, we will provide notice appropriate to the change and obtain renewed agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued.

13. Contact and notices

The operator and contact details below apply to legal notices and enquiries about these terms. If your issue concerns an assistant run by another organization, contact that organization as well.

For legal or privacy enquiries, include the relevant organization and the nature of your request. For security reports, include a safe description of the issue. Please do not send passwords, API keys, full recordings, or sensitive customer information.
